Try to understand his likes, and convince him with that to sit in one place. You should sit with him for few minutes daily; both of you should first concentrate on things he likes (be it toys, food, or something else) and then build trust and understanding with him. Then try to move him to study something, and be firm (not rude or strict) to tell him to sit at one place, but with a smiling face.
