I am a postgraduate student currently residing in Kerala..
Although I have no formal experience in teaching, I have little experience taking classes for undergraduate and postgraduate students as a part of my Two year M.Sc course.
My teaching methods include:
1. Audio-Visual aid : From my experience, students learn faster when they can visualize a concept. Before they learn a formula or derivations, it is important for the students to understand the underlying theory and concepts. Audio-visual aids are the best way to help them grasp information and remember them, rather than blindly mugging up.
2. Assignments: They may seem a little tedious, but assignments always help to understand more clearly. When you study on your own a little portion, you come across a lot of questions and doubts, which enhances your skills.
3. Writing: This applies to derivations. It is not just sufficient for a student to know the concept to remember a long derivation. Be it any subject, the mathematical components are always best learnt while practicing it a couple of times.
