Experience in School or College
During my tenure as a contractual PGT English teacher, my experience in the was both enriching and deeply fulfilling. Teaching senior classes allowed me to engage with students at a stage where clarity of thought, expression, and confidence are crucial. I strongly believe that learning becomes meaningful when students feel comfortable, heard, and motivated—and this philosophy shaped my classroom environment. My classes were interactive and student-centric, where discussions, questioning, and real-life connections formed the core of learning. Students were well-connected with me, which helped build trust and encouraged them to express their ideas freely without hesitation. Literature, grammar, and writing were taught not as rigid subjects, but as tools for communication, critical thinking, and self-expression. This made the learning process enjoyable, engaging, and effective. I focused on understanding individual learning styles and provided constructive feedback to help students improve consistently. Along with academic growth, equal importance was given to discipline, confidence-building, and exam preparedness. Witnessing students develop stronger language skills and a genuine interest in English was the most rewarding aspect of my teaching experience. This journey reinforced my belief that a positive teacher-student relationship is the foundation of impactful education.

Teaching Experience in detail in Class 12 Tuition
My teaching experience for Class 12 English tuition has been focused on helping students achieve both conceptual clarity and strong exam performance as per the CBSE curriculum. I work extensively with the Core English syllabus, covering Flamingo, Vistas, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, and Grammar in a structured yet student-friendly manner. In prose and poetry, I guide students through texts such as The Last Lesson, Deep Water, Lost Spring, My Mother at Sixty-Six, and A Thing of Beauty by explaining themes, character perspectives, literary devices, and expected CBSE answer formats. Students are trained to frame precise, well-structured answers that meet marking-scheme requirements, while still reflecting originality of thought. For Vistas, chapters like The Third Level and Should Wizard Hit Mommy? are taught through discussion-based learning, helping students develop critical thinking—an essential skill for long-answer questions. Writing skills, including notice writing, formal letters, and analytical paragraphs, are practiced with model answers and regular feedback. Reading comprehension is strengthened through timed practice to improve accuracy and confidence. My approach emphasizes doubt-clearing, personal attention, and consistent revision. Parents appreciate the disciplined structure and progress tracking, while students benefit from clarity, confidence, and a genuine understanding of English rather than rote learning.
