I am Counselling Psychologist and curious learner. As I studied psychology more and more, I found what excites me most of all were the investigation, dissection and understanding of problems that I saw around me in the world. I found my courses stimulated me to think and explore my world as I took courses and workshop on psychopathology, mental health issues, specific learning disabilities, and various childhood disorders, personality and behavioral analysis. All the seminars, internships, webinars, courses, lectures and workshops I was part of was related to psychology that gave me new experience and widened my perspective to explore my field. This experience taught me the value of applied experience, and how the influence of a faculty member can be an invaluable guide to a young student. I am a goal oriented person , an aspiring learner , with a self- motivating personality , being sociable with all so as to blossom and evolve further pertaining not only to myself but the mankind wholly .Stepping deeper into the roots, I've an enthusiastic experience of civil society organizations as a motivational speaker cum volunteer in many mental health events. Received plethora of appreciation from various events, with my contribution of indulging myself into Internships , volunteering , workshops in various psychology fields. I grew up in a place where mental health care is still in many ways not normalized. In so many ways, I believe that our society can benefit from using the knowledge learned through psychology. My knowledge of psychology could meet the expectations of purpose of this post. I will assure my presence will make a difference.
