The value of gravity varies from poles to equator inversely.i. e as we move from pole to equator the gravity start reducing..value of gravity is reducing by increasing altitude . The pole distance is minimum and more at equator. from center of the earth.t he value of gravity is maximum at the centre of the earth.
And we know the weight is force.so that
F=ma,
Here, replace acceleration by gravitational value 'g'
Hence, F=Mg
We can say that
F=M*g/h.
h is distance from centre of the earth.
F is inversely proportional to height or altitude( if it varies.)
F directly proportional to gravity.
M is constant.
