Sandeep Sarkar

Sandeep Sarkar is an Indian photographer from Guwahati, Assam. Sandeep's span of work documents his upbringings in the Northeast and his many travels in the country and Europe. After having studied a Photography degree in Documentary and Photojournalism at the Speos Photographic Institute in Paris, Sandeep aims to capture the underlying stories of peopleâ??s everyday lives and shed a new light on the physical and social environment in which they live.
Sandeep has worked with some of the leading French news papers, Lib�©ration and La Parisien. Before jumping into journalism he was a full time wildlife conservationist working for the one Horned Rhinoceros in Kaziranga and has assisted Dinesh Choudhury, Sandesh Kadur, Kalyan Varma, . His knowledge of photography comes from the days he started to work for wildlife. He has a vast knowledge about wildlife photography and landscape photography. He has published work in documentary journalism as well as commercial fashion photography and has an experience of well about 9 years.
He has done solo exhibitions in Guwahati and group exhibitions in Paris.
Sandeep's work was represented by HATSH, a young talent nest based in Paris, France.
Currently Sandeep is working for various photography workshops and projects in Bangalore, Mumbai and Guwahati.
