I am a dedicated Tabla artist and educator with over 15 years of training in Indian Classical Music and 7 years of teaching experience. My musical journey began at a very young age under the guidance of my father, Shri Nawab Khan. Later, I received advanced training from Shri Hashmat Ali Khan and Shri Manju Khan of the renowned Ajrada Gharana, which helped me develop a deep understanding of traditional tabla techniques, accompaniment, and solo performance.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor's Degree (B.A. Hons. Percussion Music, 2020) and a Master's Degree (M.A. Percussion Music, 2022) from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. I have also completed a three-year Diploma in Tabla from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi.

Throughout my musical career, I have been recognized for both my performance and academic excellence. My achievements include:

As a teacher, I have more than 7 years of experience training students of different age groups and skill levels. I have served as a Tabla Instructor at KBS Puratan Shiksha Kendra, SONAD Venue Kathak Academy, and Matri Kala Mandir (The Mother's International School).

My teaching methodology focuses on building a strong foundation in rhythm, taal, hand positioning, clarity of bols, and overall musical understanding. I believe in combining traditional Guru-Shishya values with a structured and student-friendly approach. Lessons are customized according to each student's learning pace and goals, whether they are beginners seeking foundational training or advanced learners preparing for performances, examinations, and competitions. Along with practical training, I emphasize discipline, regular practice techniques, and the theoretical aspects of Indian Classical Music to ensure holistic musical development.

My objective as a teacher is not only to train students in tabla but also to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for rhythm and Indian classical music.
