About Me

I am a Visual Art Educator, Curriculum Designer, Artist, and Teacher Trainer with over 15 years of experience in art education, curriculum development, museum learning, and creative leadership. My journey in art began with a deep passion for visual expression and evolved into a commitment to making art a meaningful tool for learning, inquiry, and personal growth.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Jamia Millia Islamia University and a Post-Graduation in Painting. Throughout my career, I have worked across schools, universities, museums, and cultural institutions, designing innovative learning experiences that connect art with culture, sustainability, history, and contemporary life.

Currently, I serve as an IB PYP Visual Art Educationist at Pathways World School, Aravali Hills, where I nurture creativity, critical thinking, and artistic confidence in young learners. My professional experience includes curriculum design and teacher training with GEMS Education, university teaching, museum education initiatives, educational content writing, and conducting workshops for students, educators, and art enthusiasts across India.

As a practicing artist, I have exhibited my work at prestigious venues such as MF Husain Art Gallery and Lalit Kala Akademi. I have been honoured with the National HRD Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and several awards recognizing my contributions to art education and sustainability.

I strongly believe that art is a universal language capable of inspiring empathy, curiosity, and innovation. Whether I am teaching in a classroom, conducting a workshop, designing a curriculum, or creating artwork, my aim is to encourage meaningful connections between people, ideas, and the world around them.

My philosophy is simple: Learn, Unlearn, and Relearn. Growth happens when we remain open to new perspectives, continuously challenge ourselves, and share our knowledge with others.
