Experience in School or College
My experience as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering has been both intellectually rewarding and professionally enriching. From the very beginning, I aimed to create an academic environment that promotes curiosity, technical competence, and hands-on problem-solving. In the classroom, I taught core undergraduate and postgraduate subjects such as Manufacturing Technology, Metal cutting Process and Non-traditional machining processes. I focused on blending theoretical concepts with real-world engineering applications, using modern teaching tools, simulation software, and project-based learning to keep students engaged. I also supervised several mini-projects guiding students through the complete engineering cycle—from conceptualization to prototype development and testing. On the research side, I pursued work in areas such as sustainable machining processes including textured cutting tools and minimum quantity lubrication. I have published several research articles and presented findings at conferences Mentorship was an especially fulfilling part of my role. I regularly advised students on academic planning, career development, and technical competitions. Overall, my time as an Assistant Professor strengthened my passion for teaching, research, and innovation. It gave me the opportunity to help shape the next generation of mechanical engineers while continuing to grow as a scholar and educator.
