Priti Das

I am an educator with 3 years of teaching experience, specialising in teaching all subjects to students from Class 1 to Class 5. Along with my teaching experience, I bring more than 6 years of corporate experience, including experience in leadership roles. This combination has helped me develop strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills that I bring into my classes.

I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from RIIT in 2020 and my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Scottish Church College in 2024. My B.Ed. qualification has provided me with professional training in teaching and education and has strengthened my understanding of student learning, classroom practices, and effective teaching methodologies.

Over the years, I have worked with primary-school students across different subjects and have developed an understanding of the learning needs of young children. I believe that the primary years are extremely important for building strong academic foundations. My focus is therefore on ensuring that students understand concepts clearly and develop positive and consistent learning habits from an early stage.

My corporate and leadership experience has also contributed to my teaching approach. Working in professional environments has helped me develop skills such as communication, planning, responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving. I use these skills to make my lessons well organised while maintaining a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable participating.

My teaching methodology is interactive and student-focused. I encourage students to participate through discussions, questions, activities, and practical examples rather than simply listening to explanations. I break concepts into simple steps and use examples that are appropriate for the student's age and learning level. Regular practice and revision are also included to reinforce understanding.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use PPT presentations and a digital whiteboard to make lessons clear and engaging. I adapt my teaching approach according to each student's learning needs, pace, and academic requirements. If a student finds a particular concept difficult, I provide additional explanations and examples until the student is comfortable with the topic.

My goal is to help primary-school students develop strong fundamentals while making learning an enjoyable experience. I want my students to become curious, confident, and comfortable asking questions. Through structured lessons, interactive activities, individual attention, and regular practice, I aim to support students in improving their academic performance and developing skills that will benefit them throughout their education.
