I am writing to express my interest in the Basketball Coach position for young athletes at your institution. With over 1.5 years of coaching experience at Vikaspuri Sports Complex, combined
with my background as a competitive Power/Small Forward at both high school and university
levels, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to your training program.
During my time coaching children aged 8–15, I have developed strong expertise in teaching
basketball fundamentals, improving fitness, and fostering teamwork and discipline. My approach
is structured, energetic, and highly supportive, ensuring that each child progresses at a pace that
builds both skill and confidence. I regularly design customized drills, conduct group and individual
training sessions, and prepare students for tournaments—all while maintaining a fun, motivating
environment.
My playing experience further strengthens my coaching style. I served as a Small Forward
(Substitute) for Toronto Metropolitan University and spent four years as a key Power/Small
Forward on my high school team BGS International Public School Dwarka, participating in interschool competitions and team development programs. This foundation allows me to teach
authentic techniques, tactical understanding, and game IQ to young learners.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with kids, communicate clearly, and create structured
programs that focus on long-term growth. I firmly believe that sports play a critical role in shaping discipline, confidence, and character—values I integrate into every training session.
