Osaidur Rahman

My name is Osaidur Rahman, and I am an Arabic language teacher and translator based in Malviya Nagar, Delhi. I have been teaching Arabic for more than three years, and over this time, I have had the opportunity to guide students from different age groups, professions, and learning backgrounds. Teaching languages has always been more than just a profession for me—it is a passion shaped by my academic journey and personal connection with the languages I teach.

I specialize in both Classical Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic, offering tailored lessons based on the goals of each learner. For those who wish to understand the Qur’an, I teach Classical Arabic with a strong emphasis on grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. At the same time, I train students who are looking to build a career in Arabic, focusing on conversational skills, reading, writing, and professional translation requirements.

Over the years, I have developed my own teaching methods that make Arabic easier to understand for beginners as well as intermediate learners. My approach is a mix of structured lessons, real-life examples, listening practice, reading exercises, and gradual skill-building. I firmly believe that every student learns differently, and I design my classes to match their pace, style, and learning needs.

Along with teaching, I also had the opportunity to work in an Arabic Call Center for a well-known company. This experience exposed me to the accents and speaking styles of people from various Arab countries. It greatly improved my listening ability, accent familiarity, and cultural understanding—skills that I now incorporate into my teaching to help students speak Arabic more naturally and confidently.

Apart from Arabic, I also teach Urdu language and literature. Urdu is my mother tongue, and I completed my entire schooling through the Urdu medium. Being born and raised in Delhi and having studied in Lucknow—two important centers of Urdu culture—has given me a deep understanding of the language’s beauty, structure, and literary richness. I enjoy teaching Urdu to both children and adults, especially those who want to improve reading, writing, or reconnect with their cultural roots.

I completed my Master of Arts (M.A.) from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2015, which laid a strong foundation for my career in language teaching. My academic background, combined with hands-on teaching experience, helps me bring clarity, discipline, and cultural depth to every lesson I conduct.

Today, I teach Arabic and Urdu both online and offline, including home classes. I ensure my sessions are interactive, clear, and customized to the learner’s objectives. Many of my students start as complete beginners, and with consistent guidance and practice, they grow into confident readers, speakers, and translators.

What continues to motivate me as a teacher is the trust my students place in me and the joy of watching them progress. I look forward to helping more learners explore, experience, and excel in the Arabic and Urdu languages with confidence and ease.
