Nishant Gaur

I am 6th semester law student who has worked at saket court at just an age of 20 for past 6 months. Throughout my internship, I had the privilege of working closely with the legal team and participating in a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. One of the key areas where I contributed was legal research. I conducted thorough research using various online and offline resources to gather relevant statutes, regulations, and case law. This research supported ongoing cases and helped the team make informed legal decisions. I also developed strong skills in analyzing and summarizing legal opinions, which aided in the preparation of briefs and legal memoranda. Document preparation was another significant aspect of my internship. Under the guidance of experienced attorneys, I drafted and edited contracts, motions, and other legal documents. This allowed me to refine my legal writing skills and understand the importance of precision and attention to detail in legal documentation. I have learnt drafting of various Section in IPC such as 302, 376, theft etc and have also drafted various Domestic violence application, 125 maintainace, 138 negotiable instrument act and also small application such as exemption and early hearing applications. Throughout my internship, I had the privilege of interacting with clients, conducting interviews, and assisting with client meetings. These experiences allowed me to develop strong interpersonal and communication skills while gaining insight into the practical application of legal principles in real-world scenarios.
overall my internship was great and I was privileged to have such knowledge at an early stage.
