I am Nidhi Rao, a tutor with around 3 years of teaching experience, specializing in teaching students from Class 1 to Class 5 across different subjects. I enjoy working with young learners and helping them develop a strong academic foundation from an early stage. My focus is on making lessons simple, engaging, and easy to understand so that students can learn comfortably and develop confidence in their studies.
I have completed my B.Tech in Information Technology, which has given me a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical concepts. Although my academic background is in engineering, my teaching experience has helped me develop a practical understanding of how young students learn and the kind of guidance they need at the primary school level.
Over the past 3 years, I have taught students from Class 1 to Class 5 in various subjects. I understand that children at this stage have different learning speeds, interests, and levels of understanding. I therefore adapt my teaching style according to each student's individual needs and try to explain concepts using simple language, examples, and step-by-step explanations.
My primary focus is on building strong fundamentals rather than encouraging students to simply memorize information. I believe that when children understand the basic concept clearly, they become more confident in applying their knowledge to different questions. I give importance to regular practice, revision, doubt clarification, and encouraging students to actively participate during the sessions.
I follow a structured approach to teaching and prepare lesson plans according to the student's syllabus, academic requirements, and learning pace. I also conduct interactive sessions where students can ask questions, participate in discussions, and work through exercises with my guidance. This helps me understand where a student may be facing difficulty and allows me to provide additional explanation or practice wherever required.
For online classes, I use tools such as PPTs and a digital whiteboard to make lessons more visual and interactive. I use presentations to explain topics clearly and the whiteboard to work through questions, examples, and important concepts during the class. I try to keep sessions engaging so that young students remain attentive and actively involved throughout the lesson.
I offer both online and offline classes and provide personalized guidance based on each student's academic level and requirements. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where children can ask questions freely, strengthen their fundamentals, improve their academic performance, and develop a positive attitude towards studying. I believe that consistent guidance, interactive teaching, and a clear understanding of concepts can help students build a strong foundation for their future education.
