Projection is an anticipated data that is forecasted for a specific set of conditions. As its a predicted set of information, it is not a REAL value that is currently in place. 

Whereas when we talk about the View, it refers to the real data that is existing and reflects the same. For instance, when you are referring about a projection on a data, its dependent on the current set of data -- for example, the projected value of population after ten years can be calculated based on the past set of information/values. Whereas when we refer about a View, we would take a particular instant and fetch the exact information and data that is currently residing, which is then reflected.
