Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach Class 10 students and honestly, it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. I’ve mainly helped students with subjects like English, Social Science, and sometimes Science, depending on their needs. What I’ve realized is that at this stage, students are not only preparing for board exams but also dealing with a lot of pressure, my approach has always been about creating a comfortable and encouraging environment first. I try to break down concepts in a way that feels relatable. For example, in History, I use storytelling to help them remember timelines and events, and in English, I focus more on helping them understand the meaning behind texts rather than just memorising them. I’ve also helped students improve their writing skills by giving them regular feedback on their answers, to structure responses, what examiners look for, and how to express ideas clearly. One thing that’s worked really well for me is being flexible with my teaching style. Every student is different; some grasp things quickly, others need more time and I try to adjust accordingly. I also make sure to revise topics often and hold short tests, not to pressurize them, but to track their comfort level and progress. In short, my teaching experience with Class 10 has been more than just covering the syllabus; it’s about building confidence, simplifying learning, and helping students actually enjoy what they’re studying.

I have been teaching English and Social Science to Class 8 students for over a year now, and it's been a really fulfilling experience. My focus has always been to make learning simple and engaging, especially for subjects like SST that students find a bit dry. I try to bring stories and real-life examples into the lessons to make them more relatable. In English, I work on building a strong foundation in grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I often give them small writing prompts or fun activities to make learning creative and less stressful. Every child learns differently, and I make sure to adjust my teaching style based on their pace and comfort. I encourage a lot of questions in class because I believe curiosity leads to deeper understanding. I also conduct regular revision sessions and short quizzes to help them retain what they learn. Watching my students improve, become more confident, and even start enjoying the subjects they once feared is honestly the most rewarding part of this job. I don’t just aim to help them score well, but also to develop a genuine interest in learning. Overall, teaching Class 8 has been both a responsibility and a joy for me.
