Teaching Experience in detail in Japanese Language classes

I have over six years of experience as a Japanese language trainer, primarily teaching up to the JLPT N3 level. My students have included school and college students, working professionals, and candidates preparing for language certification exams such as JLPT, NAT, and JFT. I have consistently tailored my lessons to suit each learner's individual goals, whether they were aiming to study in Japan, pursue professional opportunities, or simply gain fluency in the language. My teaching focuses on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, kanji, and conversational skills, as well as test strategies and cultural insights. I use interactive teaching methods, incorporating audiovisual aids, role-plays, real-life examples, and mock tests to make the learning experience engaging and practical. I lived in Japan for one year, during which I continued working remotely as a freelance Japanese language trainer, content writer, and translator. This immersive experience helped me develop a deeper understanding of the language and culture, which I now integrate into my teaching to help students learn in a more authentic and contextualized way. Although I did not work in a formal role in Japan, living there allowed me to experience everyday communication, social customs, and professional interactions firsthand—insights that I regularly bring into the classroom to bridge the gap between textbook learning and real-world usage.
