While writing this answer, I am assuming that you have good knowledge of some subjects that require engaging with tutors (like mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc.)
You can give tuition either offline or online.
If you live in a residential colony or apartment complex, you may find it easier to get students for offline tuition. Start by putting up some pamphlets or posters in apartment maintenance office OR at nearby grocery shops. To attract students (or their parents), may be you can offer discounted rates OR a few free classes. You can use one of the rooms in your house for this purpose.
Online tuition also can be given in 2 ways -
(1) either directly to a student or group of students who are directly known to you (using software like Skype, Google Hangouts, or even Periscope on Twitter). Finding students for this mode may not be easy because one needs to have a reputation and lack of a public platform may restrict business opportunities
(2) using platforms like Vedantu, Flipclass, etc. - these platforms connect tutors and students. They have a selection process to ensure that people with good knowledge of subjects are enrolled as tutors on their platforms. These are little expensive but I guess they can ensure good business
If you don’t have any prior experience in tutoring or teaching, I feel, you should start with offline tuition - primarily teaching to children near your house for a nominal or no fee. Once you build some reputation, you can adopt online tutoring and also run larger batches (if you find that you can manage more students in one session).
Good luck.
