Teaching Experience in detail in Vocal Music classes
Started learning Carnatic vocal at the tender age of 9 from Saroja Gopal Krishnan, a well-known musician in Delhi’s Tamil Circle. I am Delhi University’s Faculty of Music and Fine Arts certified ‘Sangeet Shiromani’, trained under the able guidance of renowned violinist Padma Vibhushan Prof. T. N. Krishnan. I have given solo vocal performances in Carnatic music in cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, and Chennai. I have also given vocal accompaniment to Bharatanatyam dance performances in these cities. Currently, I am teaching music to children of various age groups and adults in Delhi. Some of my students are based out of Houston and New York. I also use music as a therapy to help those who suffer from depression and anxiety. Additionally, I also teach bhajans, shlokas, and Bollywood old numbers to those interested.
