Hello, I am Isha, a final-year student at Miranda House, University of Delhi. I have been teaching students for nearly three years, which has helped me understand that every child has a unique way of learning. One of my most meaningful experiences has been teaching Nursery and KG students. At this stage, children learn best through play and interaction rather than formal instruction. I used storytelling, rhymes, and creative activities to make learning engaging and effective. This approach helped children grasp basic concepts while enjoying the process. I also learned the importance of patience and observation, as each child learns at their own pace. By creating a supportive and comfortable environment, I encouraged them to express themselves and build confidence. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching methods and reinforced my belief that early education plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s curiosity and love for learning.
