uring the pandemic, when clinical postings were suspended and uncertainty shaped every part of medical training, I became a video tutor for my juniors. What began as a simple attempt to bridge an academic gap grew into a structured, supportive learning space where we broke down difficult concepts, practiced clinical reasoning, and recreated the sense of mentorship we had lost in the transition online. Recording lessons late at night after studying for my own exams, I learned to teach with clarity, empathy, and creativity—finding ways to make complex subjects feel accessible despite the distance. Those sessions became more than tutorials; they became a source of connection, reassurance, and continuity at a time when many students felt isolated. Helping my juniors regain confidence reminded me that medicine is built not only on knowledge, but on community—and that even in crisis, we can lift each other up.
