Experience in School or College
My experience in school and college helped build a strong foundation for my career in teaching. I developed good communication, patience, and organizational skills, which are very important while working with young learners. During my studies, I gained knowledge about child development and different teaching approaches. These experiences have helped me become a supportive and engaging tutor who focuses on building strong basics and confidence in children.

Teaching Experience in detail in Nursery-KG Tuition
I have around seven years of experience teaching early years children, specifically in the Nursery to KG age group. My teaching focus is on building strong foundational skills in early literacy, phonics, writing readiness, and basic numeracy. I am Montessori trained and Jolly Phonics certified, which allows me to use structured, research-based methods that are suitable for young learners and help them develop confidence in their learning journey. In my teaching practice, I place a strong emphasis on phonics-based reading. I help children recognize letter sounds, blend sounds to read simple words, and gradually move towards reading short sentences independently. I also work on developing vocabulary and comprehension through picture discussions, simple reading activities, and interactive learning tasks. My goal is to make reading a natural and enjoyable process for children rather than something they feel pressured to do. Along with reading, I focus on developing pre-writing and writing skills. This includes improving fine motor control, correct pencil grip, letter formation, and writing simple words and sentences. I use guided practice, tracing, and gradual independent writing activities to help children gain confidence in writing. For numeracy, I introduce number concepts through visual aids, counting activities, and simple problem-solving tasks. I work on number recognition, counting, number sequencing, and early addition concepts using pictures and real-life examples so that children understand numbers in a meaningful way. I also support children who need help bridging learning gaps or strengthening their basic skills. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and child-centered, ensuring that each child learns at their own pace while developing confidence and a love for learning. I also guide parents with simple strategies to support their child’s learning at home.
