About the Course
At Tara Shastri Academy of Music and Performing Music , we nurture creative expression and experiential learning to cultivate entrepreneurial thinkers and innovators.
Our faculty always strives hard to create new approaches to music teaching and learning and integrate them with traditional practices in a contemporary context to inspire, broaden, and connect the musical passions of our students in a rapidly evolving world. They are experienced in the industry, and provide highly personalized instruction in technologically advanced facilities. The academy organises a dance and music show every 4 months where all the students of the academy, consisting of 3+ to 50+ age groups, perform in front of a huge crowd mainly comparising of their family and friends. This show is held in any of the leading auditoriums and is sponsored by major MNCs like Coca Cola, Mother Dairy, VAB Media, Canvas to name a few. These performances help the students overcome the initial stage fear and gives them confidence which helps in their overall personality development.
Topics CoveredBuilding a better teacher review Bhatatnatyam as well as western dance from the basic steps we teach the beginner students as they progress to the complex steps we teach our senior students.
We will dance together and share our knowledge and experience .A unique opportunity to go back to the beginning and work through our methods and technique for developing our skills.

The primary aim of the Department of Dance is to enrich the lives of majors, non majors community with diverse dance experiences. Dance is explored as an art form and as one of the humanities in a liberal-arts education. Study in dance as an academic discipline integrates inquiry and theory to develop skills in observation, critical thinking, problem solving, and evaluation. In addition to the academic components, dance students experience the rigorous professional discipline that is inherent in studio classes.
