Bhaskar Jha

Bhaskar’s initial training started at his home town ,Varanasi (Banaras) under the guidance of his paternal uncle Pt. Shri Narendra Jha. Later he got an excellent opportunity to enhance his talent by learning from one of the most renowned vocalists of Banaras gharana Pt. Shri Pashupati nath mishra & Pt. Shri Jalpa Prasad mishra. It’s been more than 15 years now, he has been taking an intense training under the guru shishya parampara. At present he is under guidance of Pt. Ashish Narayan Tripathi ji , a disciple of Pt. Rajan Sajan Mishra Ji. Presently Bhaskar is working as a free lancer specialise trainer for singing reality shows and also as a professional singer.
He has been a winner of several national level, inter and intra state level competitions and also been to SA RE GA MA PA , among top 28 finalists in 2007-08. He was the winner of “Punjabi please” contest organised by Big 92.7 fm at national level and performed with Sonu Nigam. With the belief of taking music to a new heights, he has also trained many budding talents at several music institutes such as ‘Amrapaali kalapeeth’ in dwarka, and currently he is working as a Head Of The Department in The School Of Performing Arts at Marwah Studios, Film City , Noida ,seeking for some great talents of the future. Going by the number of lovers of music who flock to his performances, he might not be too far from his goal.
