Dear sir,
Firstly your son is very innocent, I can imagine. Now, he is very naive in childhood, so any pressure and warning can negatively impact his mind. So be careful with him and his activities.
Focusing is an issue, but it can slowly increase when his age or brain size increases. His brain has lesser fissure or gyri now than an adult. Also, hormone level is another type that excited him internally every moment, so if he is impatient, it is not his fault.
When he is lying on the bed with his stomach side, give him some sketches and drawing books and sit nearby with the exact copy and sketch. When you try to draw something, then he will do the same in his book, and you will feel that his interest will develop by this technique, and soon he will habituate to it, and you will see that he can sit at a place for more than an hour and start focusing on study.
