Ajit Kolekar

I am Ajeet Kolekar, a dedicated and passionate scholar of Political Science with a strong academic foundation and a deep commitment to teaching, research, and public service. Having completed my Master’s degree in Political Science from IGNOU (2022) and Bachelor’s degree from Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi (2018), I have developed a comprehensive understanding of political theory, Indian political thought, and constitutional studies.

Along with my academic journey, I have qualified both UGC-NET (Political Science) in 2024 with 94.67 percentile and MH-SET in 2025, which reflect my analytical aptitude and conceptual clarity in the discipline.

I was preparing for the Civil Services Examination, having appeared four times. This experience has honed my knowledge of governance, public policy, and social issues, while strengthening my ability to think critically and teach complex concepts with simplicity. I have also worked as a freelancer with various UPSC institutions, where I contributed to mentoring aspirants, creating academic content, and conducting discussions on current affairs and polity.

In addition to academics, I have always been active in co-curricular and social engagements. As the Secretary of the Debating Society and Theatre Society during my college years, I organized debates, seminars, and performed in a play titled “Itihas” at the National School of Drama. My involvement with NCC/NSS and as a student coordinator at UDAAN Organization helped me develop leadership, teamwork, and social sensitivity — qualities essential for both teaching and administration.

With strong communication skills, proficiency in ICT tools (MS Office, Zoom, Google Meet, LMS), and a keen interest in interdisciplinary learning, I aim to contribute as a PGT Political Science Teacher by nurturing critical thinking, research orientation, and civic awareness among students.
