I have over 18 years of experience in the field of branding and communication. I have worked both as an independent consultant, and as a Brand Consultant (promoted twice within six years) at BOD Consulting (formerly Brands of Desire). Moreover, I have also worked as a contributor for Dehradun Times (formerly Times of Doon) as a freelance journalist. Have successfully delivered over 200 branding and communication projects involving:
Primary and desk research to gather and analyze data across four dimensions: the audience, the industry, the competition and the client’s current marketing & branding practices
Developing and testing hypothesis to make recommendations on the brand and marketing strategies
Articulating the brand’s personality, value proposition, vision, mission, core values and tone of voice
Shaping design and content into powerful, evocative and well-targeted brand communications and customer experiences (including apps/ websites, stores/spaces, packaging, livery, transport, films/AVs etc.)
Unlocking brand strategy and positioning, bringing about brand transformation, carrying out business analysis, qualitative and quantitative research and analytics, providing design direction to a large team of creatives on multiple projects running in parallel
Ensuring consistency across various brand experiences through creation of and adherence to brand guidelines
Leading the content and design teams responsible for creating brand experiences, both tactical (such as social media) and strategic (such as investor presentations, strategic communications) in nature. Writing impeccably creative and data-driven ad copies, brand taglines, technical and non technical content for a variety of purposes, while maintaining consistency with the brand guidelines.
I am a strong communicator and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. I am also highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and results.
