You have to be good at physics and mathematics. Prepare for the universities having specialized automobile engineering course, give preference to IIT and NIT. Still, if you are not selected in that, few universities are there having good curriculum related to automobiles. I am in University of petroleum and energy studies, Dehradun. This University is having B.Tech in the automobile. You can opt for this also. Because its course is old and having a proper placement in the automobile field. Some of the recruiters were Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Tata motors etc.
