In a relational data model, the basic features include tables (relations) that store data in rows and columns, keys that establish relationships between tables, and normalization to reduce redundancy and improve data integrity. Each table has a primary key to uniquely identify each row, and foreign keys to link related tables. Relationships between tables are defined through these keys. Additionally, relational data models support ACID properties (Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability) to ensure data integrity and transaction reliability. These features make relational databases well-suited for structured data with well-defined relationships. read less
