I am a dedicated and compassionate education professional with over 23 years of experience in teaching, mentoring, counseling, academic administration, and co-curricular coordination. Throughout my career, I have worked with reputed institutions such as Delhi Public School, Rohini; Delhi Public School Megacity, Kolkata; and Akshar School, Kolkata, where I have contributed to students' academic, social, emotional, and holistic development. My professional journey has provided me with extensive experience in inclusive education and special needs support, particularly in working with children with diverse learning needs and disabilities, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. I have served as a special needs in-charge and mentor, preparing individual case studies, identifying students' strengths and areas for improvement, and developing strategies to support their learning and overall growth. I strongly believe in creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have held several leadership roles, including co-curricular coordinator, level mentor, house mistress, and member of the school magazine editorial team. These roles have strengthened my skills in team coordination, event planning, project management, teacher-student mentoring, and collaboration with parents and school administrators. I have also been actively involved in the International School Award (ISA) project, contributing to my school's achievement of the award for nine consecutive years. I am passionate about integrating technology into education to make learning more engaging, interactive, and effective. I have experience creating digital learning resources, lesson plans, assessments, presentations, and educational videos, and have successfully adapted to online teaching environments. I have completed Microsoft Advanced Educator and 21st Century Learning Design courses, along with DIKSHA courses conducted by NCERT under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. I continuously seek opportunities for professional development through workshops, webinars, and training programmes. My contributions to education have been recognised through the Best Teacher Award presented by IIHM for FY 2020, as well as a school nomination for The Telegraph in School (TTIS) Teachers Award under the category 'Touching Stone.' As an educator, I strive to combine empathy, creativity, patience, and a student-centric approach with effective classroom management and positive behaviour reinforcement. I value teamwork, constructive feedback, and meaningful partnerships with parents and colleagues.
