I am a chess instructor for the past 6 years. I give online lessons for students from age 4.
I train them from beginner to intermediate level. Key skills involves training from opening, Middle game, Endgame
My 1:1 sessions are purely based on the best productiveness wherein all the focus is dedicated to the particular student taking the class. The learner shall learn Openings, Tactics, Strategy, middle games, Analysis, endgames, etc.
I go through some basic introductions to make a friendly approach. Then I move to the homework discussion and last class Revision. After that, I approach the new topic for discussion and teaching. Then I move on to the question session and the homework session. I close the session after sharing a few tips.
Group classes involve more than 4 to 5 kids. So the learning stuff would be less productive, but more interactive with more children together making the session lively.
