Yes It's true. Services provided by aws are awesome. They are providing ec2 , S3, RDS , EBS , DYNAMODB and features like autoscaling and load balancing.

Instead of doing such things you can open your browser go to service provider site like Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure and sign up there and login and select various hardware configuration option with os and your system will be get started. I have 5 years of experience in SAN technology.
