You need to learn as it will become basic skill like computer . Only part you need to skill yourself in some service to make your self relevant for market to get opportunities.

People from Server admin, networking and storage profiles can opt for IaaS mode of cloud delivery and as you mentioned AWS is doing good. salary depends on level of profile and company standards.
