Why does everyone say that back year papers are important for the CLAT exam?

Hey Bhargavi, I am a fourth year student at NLSIU. My All India Rank in CLAT 2014 was 09. CLAT has a very unique structure with its GK and Legal components being very unique. Hence, past year papers are relevant to understand what kind of questions you would get in GK / Legal. Further, for example in CLAT 2014, a lot of questions from earlier individual entrance examinations of various law schools (NLSIU, NLUJ, NALSAR) had come. That said, do realise that past year papers are only a last source of study, and not your primary material. Hope this helped! Amol read less
