Source of Vitamin B12- Animal products like Fish, meat, eggs, some nutritionally yeast products and dairy products. It's generally not found in plant products. As Vitamin B12- is a crucial nutrient, its Deficiency can lead to neurological disfunctioning and anaemia. Vitamin B12 is responsible for the production of healthy red blood cells (RBCs) which carry oxygen all throughout the body. The deficiency causes anaemia which makes the body produce cells which are larger than normal RBCs. These cells are known as megaloblastic and macrocytic cells, which don't perform the required job. read less
