The amount of energy required to remove electrons one by one is known as enthalpy of ionisation. The energy required to remove last electron is called first ionization enthalpy, and to remove second last electron is called second ionization energy.

why current is scalar quantity but current-density a vector ?
Current is not a scalar quantity....its a tensor quantity as its direction is fixed. Current density is current per unit area and as area is a vector quantity so is the current density.
