Normal supply in India is 220V AC and for sure these resistors are not rated at this otherwise they will take very low supply while connected to 10 volt battery. Now supposing that question says that these two resistors are drawing 2W and 3W respectively while being connected to 10 volts battery, then the answer is 4 volt. The potential difference across the 2W resistor will be 4 volt and across the 3W resistor will be 6 volt and totally they are utilising the 10 volts. Now thinking they are rated at the normal house hold supplies, we can find the rating current using W=V*I. Then we can find the resistance using R=V/I. Then we can find the voltage across the 2W resistor using V2 = (10/(R1+R2))*R2. read less
