force experienced by a charge particle in a magnetic field is given by ;q MULTIPLIED by cross product of v(velocity) and magnetic field(B). In case magnetic field is same ,and they have same velocity ,so force will depend upon magnitude of charge .we know that charges on electron and proton are equal in magnitude but opposite in nature, hence magnitude of force experienced by electron and proton both will be same. Please note that if they ask this question in exam then correct answer is "forces are not equal". Because force is a vector quantity ,and two vectors equal only when both their magnitude as well as direction are equal. Here electron amd proton will experience same magnitude of foce, but strictly forces are not equal bcoz they have opposite direction. read less

Since F=q(v×B) therefore force on both electron & protone is same but in oposite direction because charges are equal in magnitude but opposite in nature.

Force on a charged particle moving in a magnetic field of strength B, with a velocity v is given by, F=q(v X B), where X is the cross product of vectors. So it can be seen that Force depends only on charge q, Field strength B and velocity v. Since the electron and proton have the same charge(magnitude),...

Force on a charged particle moving in a magnetic field of strength B, with a velocity v is given by, F=q(v X B), where X is the cross product of vectors. So it can be seen that Force depends only on charge q, Field strength B and velocity v. Since the electron and proton have the same charge(magnitude), same velocity and enter the same magnetic field, the force on both of them will also be equal. Note: Force doesn't depend on the mass of the particle. So, even though proton and electron have different masses, it has no effect on the force. read less

Force on a charged particle which when entered a magnetic field is same irrespective of masses.because force is depending on charge, speed and magnetic field And Force is given by F = q( v×B)
