You can view this phenomenon by using a PRISM. Place the PRISM is such a position so that the Sun rays incident on it. You will see 7 colours (VIBGYOR) when the Sun rays will pass through it. This phenomenon can also be seen sometimes during the Rainy season when clouds create a PRISM type shape.
