CBT is a psychological processes of addressing some mental disorders of patients by talking to them over a few sessions. It can cure depression or anxiety in patients but can not cure some serious forms of mental disorders. The theory behind this therapy is the belief that thoughts, beliefs and physical sensations are interrelated. This approach aims at curing current mental issues and does not attempt to address long-ingrained old issues.
