At first, Bholi agreed to an unequal match because of her father’s pride. She doesn’t want to disobey her father. But later, when Bishambar spotted pockmarks on Bholi’s face while marrying, he demanded five thousand rupees as a dowry. He also disrespected Bholi’s parents.
