Her father, Otto Frank was the only surviving member of the family, who returned and found the diary which he later decided to publish.

Summary 

The Diary of Anne Frank is a story about a young girl whose name was Anne Frank. She talks about being lonely and having no friends to talk to despite being surrounded by her family and about 30 people who she used to call them as her “friends”. This was the reason which prompted her to start writing and maintaining a diary in which she could pour herself and her feelings. The story is based on the diary that was written by her. Anne Frank is a Jewish girl who has to conceal herself from the Nazi’s during World War Two. in her diary she shared her experience as a young girl when she was depressed. Anne Frank hid from the Nazi’s along with seven other people in a secret annexe which was located on the Prinsengracht 263 in Amsterdam. She along with her seven companions were discovered and deported to concentration camps after almost two years in hiding. Otto Frank, Anne Frank’s father is the only surviving member among the eight people. In her diary, she described all the important events that she experienced in her life. After her death Anne Frank became famous through her diary that she maintained while in hiding and when she was kept in concentration camps.
