Yes, I have lost many things that were dear to me which I never wanted to lose. Yes, I have lost many things that were dear to me which I never wanted to lose. But among them, it was theloss of a watchthat I could not bear since it was given to me by my dearest uncle who is no more now. He gave it on my 14thbirthday which was really very special. When I went to visit the Lotus Temple in Delhi with my family, I lost it unknowingly being part of a large crowd. I found about the lost watch after returning home. At that time, I experienced feelings of dismay which I could not overcome for a long period of time. read less

I lost that toy unfortunately while playing with my friends. I felt very sad and i can't control my tears it rolled down my eyes.even though it became old i refused it to throw down because I loved the toy so much it accompanied with me most of the time when I felt lonely.i can buy another toy but it won't bring back my favourite memories with that toy and my parents helped me to overcome this by telling many positive things like it became old you don't have to cry for that and i learned that to keep our thing always safe and careful . read less

Yes, I had lost my pet dog in a road accident when he was just five years old. One day I was playing with my puppy with a ball in my garden. I threw the ball in the air while playing with him, my dog jumped to catch the ball but it bounced back and rolled to the street nearby. As my dog went to fetch the ball, a speeding car ran over my puppy and I could hear it crying in pain. I rushed to the spot and found my pup covered in blood. I rushed him to the hospital immediately but it was too late and he was bleeding profusely and succumbed to injuries. I was very upset and grief-stricken by this incident. With due course of time, I recovered from my loss, but that incident is fresh in my memories and I still love my dog and miss him dearly. read less

Such an instance that I can recall is when I lost my bicycle. It was a gift from my parents, and so I was very attached to it. It was one of the most precious possessions that I had. I went to the ground for playing a cricket match. When I returned, I could not find my bicycle in the parking lot. I searched for it on the ground and locations in the vicinity but in vain. I was dejected with the loss. However, my parents' positive words that it was not my fault helped me overcome my grief. I also learned that I should value my possessions, should be more careful and should take good care of them. read less
