1)Curved Surface Area of the cone= πrl

2)Total surface Area of cone= πr(r+l)

Ex- If,r=28 cm, l=30cm, then

1)Curved Surface Area of the cone= πrl

=22/7x28x30

=22x4x30

=2640 square cm

2)Total surface Area of cone= πr(r+l)

=22/7x28(28+30)

= 22x4(58)

=5104 square cm
