CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE CIRCLE

Perimeter of Circle

The CIRCUMFERENCE of a circle is the total length of the outer periphery(boundary) of the circle.

If radius of the circle = r

Then, Circumference of the circle = 2πr units

Here, π=22/7=3.14 aproximately

Ex:-

radius of the circle = r = 35cm

Circumference of the circle = 2πr

= (22/7)x35

=22x 5

=110 cm
