Teaching Experience in detail in Class I-V Tuition
Hi! I'm excited to share a bit about my teaching journey. I've been tutoring Class I-V students one-on-one at home, teaching all subjects — English, Math, EVS, and more. Though I'm still early in my tutoring career (under a year), every day with my students has taught me so much about how kids learn best. What I love most about home tuition is getting to know each child's personality and learning style. Every kid is different — some love stories, some learn better through games, some need extra time with numbers. Working privately means I can really focus on what works for that specific child, instead of trying to teach thirty kids the same way. It's so rewarding to see a child's face light up when they finally understand something! My teaching style is pretty simple: I want learning to feel fun, not stressful. I use a lot of storytelling, colorful examples, and interactive games to keep kids engaged. When teaching Math, I try to connect it to real things kids see every day — like counting coins or measuring ingredients in the kitchen. For English, I focus on helping kids enjoy reading and feel confident speaking, rather than worrying too much about grammar rules. I'm big on practice and revision because that's how things actually stick. I give homework that's helpful (not overwhelming!), use quizzes to check understanding, and always keep parents in the loop about how their child is doing and what they might need a little extra help with. The most important thing I try to do is create a safe space where making mistakes is totally okay. Kids at this age can get discouraged easily, so I make sure they know that struggling with something new is completely normal and actually how we learn best. I want every child to feel confident and excited about learning. I might be new to tutoring, but I genuinely care about helping each child grow — not just with schoolwork, but with building confidence and a real love for learning that lasts. That's what keeps me going!
