I am Safa Salsabeel Z, I am an author, blogger, podcaster, orator, researcher, entrepreneur, and Soft Skills Trainer who believes that communication is the most powerful skill a person can possess. From literature and public speaking to leadership and youth empowerment, my journey has always been driven by one purpose inspiring people through words, ideas, and action. I had the privilege of interning in one of India’s most respected national newspapers,’ The Hindu ‘where I gained hands-on experience in journalism, editorial writing, research, and impactful communication. I was also featured as a Gen Z Podcaster of India for using storytelling and podcasting as a platform to amplify youth voices and create meaningful conversations.

Academically, I’ve completed my Master’s in English at Madras Christian College. I was the topper in my CBSE class XII Board exam in my school.

As a writer, I have authored books such as ‘The Second Chance’ and ‘Life isn’t a Secret Quest’. Writing has always been more than a hobby for me it has been my voice, my therapy, and my way of connecting with society. Alongside this, I am also a daily blogger, content curator, and public speaker.

My journey has been blessed with recognition at international, national, and state levels. I received international recognition for “Outstanding Work” in an English Essay Competition organized by and endorsed by . I also received “Outstanding Entry” in a national-level English Essay Competition conducted under the Central Government’s Society for Communal Harmony.

One of the biggest milestones in my journey was representing Tamil Nadu at the national level in the after securing first place at the state level. I was also honoured in a state-level English elocution competition, where I represented Trichy District and received appreciation and a cash award from former Chief Minister .
Beyond academics, I have actively engaged with some of India’s most prestigious institutions and dignitaries. Through the fully sponsored Delhi Fellowship Programme organized by the US Consulate I had the privilege to visit Parliament, Supreme Court, NALSA, NHRC and SHRC as a special guest. I also had the honour of interacting with eminent personalities from the legal, political, and academic sectors, including being invited as a special guest in the presence of the Chief Justice of India.
Adding to that experience, I also delivered a lecture at JNU where I shared my perspectives on youth empowerment, communication, and leadership.

These experiences strengthened my understanding of governance, social impact, public communication, and national development.
Professionally, I interned under an MP where I gained exposure to administration, governance, and policy-making. I also worked as an English Tutor for CBSE Grade 9 and 10 students while developing innovative teaching methods that focused on student engagement and confidence-building.

I also served as a Research Analyst in a project where our team won a cash prize of ₹1,00,000. Besides that I pitched a startup idea where it got selected in National level and I received an award from IIT Delhi
As an entrepreneur, I am the founder of SkillFirm a platform dedicated to empowering students through communication skills, personality development, leadership training, and career guidance. It is recognized as one of the top startups in India.
In leadership roles, I served as the President of the Department, organized international conferences and cultural events, and worked as a student office bearer and academic council representative for two consecutive years. Alongside this, I explored theatre, documentaries, drama festivals, and short film competitions, strengthening my storytelling and presentation abilities.

As a Soft Skills Trainer, my mission is simple to help students discover their voice, build confidence, communicate effectively, and become leaders in their own lives. I strongly believe that marks alone do not define success; communication, emotional intelligence, leadership, adaptability, and self-confidence are equally important in today’s world.
I am fluent in English and Hindi, proficient in Tamil, and passionate about mentoring the next generation with knowledge, empathy, and purpose.
