S. Glory Samuvel

I teach students from Class 1 to 5 in subjects including Tamil, Social Studies, Environmental Science (EVS), and English. While I’ve been teaching for one year, it has been a truly fulfilling experience to work with young learners and help them build a strong foundation in their early academic journey. I find great joy in simplifying concepts and making learning enjoyable and engaging for children.
Though my academic background is in the field of computer applications—I hold a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)—my passion has always been in teaching. This passion led me to begin working with primary students, and I’ve dedicated myself to continuously improving my teaching methods to suit the learning needs of children in their formative years.
I conduct both online and offline sessions, depending on the needs and convenience of students and parents. Most of my sessions are either one-on-one or in small group formats, which ensures individual attention and better communication. I find this structure helps young learners feel more comfortable and confident, especially when they are just beginning their academic journey.
My teaching style is highly practical and interactive. I believe that young children learn best when they are actively involved in the process. Whether it’s through stories, activities, real-life examples, or simple exercises, I aim to make each lesson relatable and fun. I also make extensive use of the whiteboard for explanations, which keeps the sessions visually engaging and helps reinforce concepts effectively.
I conduct regular assessments and short tests to evaluate the student’s understanding and track their progress. These assessments not only help identify areas where students need more support but also build their confidence when they see how much they’ve improved. I share feedback with parents regularly to keep them involved in their child’s learning journey.
What keeps me motivated is the joy I see on a child’s face when they understand something new or overcome a challenge. My goal is to create a learning environment that encourages curiosity, builds confidence, and lays the groundwork for lifelong learning. Teaching is more than a job for me—it’s a responsibility and a passion that I am proud to pursue every day.
