Raguraman

I am Raguraman, a Mathematics and Physics teacher with around 2 years of teaching experience. I primarily teach students of Classes 11 and 12, helping them develop strong subject fundamentals, improve their problem-solving abilities, and prepare effectively for their academic and competitive examinations. My teaching is focused on making concepts clear and giving students sufficient practice to approach questions with confidence.

I have completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), which has given me a strong academic foundation in Mathematics and Physics. I use this foundation to explain concepts in a systematic and practical manner. I believe that students perform better when they understand the reasoning behind a concept instead of relying only on memorisation, so I focus on building clarity before moving towards more advanced problems.

My primary teaching focus is Mathematics and Physics for Classes 11 and 12. In Mathematics, I help students understand concepts, formulas, methods, and problem-solving techniques through step-by-step explanations and regular practice. In Physics, I focus on understanding fundamental principles, connecting concepts with practical examples, and applying them to numerical and examination-oriented questions.

I am a retired business owner from the Rubber Chemicals industry and have previously worked with ICI India Ltd. as a Techno-Commercial Manager. After completing my professional career, I developed a strong interest in teaching and decided to use my experience and subject knowledge to support students. Over the past couple of years, I have particularly enjoyed working with senior school students and helping them prepare for competitive examinations.

I follow a well-structured lesson plan and conduct interactive classes where students are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and clarify their doubts. I first work on conceptual understanding and then gradually move towards problem-solving, application-based questions, and regular practice. I also adapt my teaching approach according to the student’s learning pace, current understanding, and individual requirements.

During my classes, I primarily use a whiteboard to explain concepts clearly and make problem-solving more interactive. I work through questions step by step with students and encourage them to participate rather than simply observe the solution. I also use practical examples wherever relevant so that students can connect theoretical concepts with their application.

My goal is to help Class 11 and 12 students become more confident and independent in Mathematics and Physics. Whether the requirement is strengthening fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, preparing for school examinations, or working towards competitive examinations, I focus on providing structured guidance, regular practice, and clear explanations. I offer both online classes and offline home tuition based on the student’s requirements.
