I am Prabha S, a Hindi teacher with around 10 years of experience. I teach Hindi to students from Classes 1 to 8 and also work with children, students, and adults who want to learn Hindi as a language. As a native Hindi speaker based in Chennai, I focus on making Hindi simple, practical, and enjoyable for learners.

I have completed eight levels of Rashtrabhasha Praveen Uttarardh through Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Chennai. My background has helped me develop a strong understanding of Hindi grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation, and communication.

I was brought up in different parts of North India, including Pune, Lucknow, Amritsar, Jodhpur, and other Hindi-speaking regions. This experience gave me exposure to different accents, expressions, and cultural backgrounds and helped me develop a natural command of the language.

I am fluent in Hindi, English, and Tamil. This is especially useful when teaching Tamil-speaking students because I can explain difficult Hindi grammar, sentence formation, vocabulary, and pronunciation through Tamil whenever required. I can also use English as a supporting language for learners who are more comfortable with it.

For school students, I provide support with textbook lessons, grammar, reading, writing, comprehension, vocabulary, homework, and examination preparation. For Spoken Hindi learners, I focus on everyday conversations, commonly used words, sentence patterns, and practical situations so that students can gradually become more confident in speaking.

I believe Hindi should be learned through understanding and regular practice rather than memorisation alone. I conduct both online and offline classes, use PPTs and a whiteboard when required, and adapt my lessons according to the student's age, level, pace, and learning goals.
